CEO & Co-Founder
A licensed attorney, Helaine co-founded Pathlight HOME alongside Rev. Fred Maxwell more than 27 years ago. Always finding ways to support the homeless community throughout Florida, she helped create Central Florida’s Homeless Services Network in 1993 and served as their Treasurer, President, and Interim Executive Director. She also served as past Treasurer and President of the Florida Coalition for the Homeless. Recently she was honored as one of Orlando Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business for 2020.
Babette has served on Pathlight HOME’s senior leadership team since 2007. She has over 20 years of experience in property management serving low-income and chronically homeless individuals.
Along with her Master's in Business Administration, Babette has completed training with the National Center for Housing Management and has a variety of HUD-specific certifications. Recently she was honored with the 2017 Lowell Stafford Community Leadership Award.

Gabriella has brought her passion for people from Chicago to Pathlight HOME. Her background includes positions in event planning and experience as a Volunteer Coordinator position with an international service organization. She is committed to combining her coordination skills with community outreach to connect more people with the mission of helping those facing homelessness.

Joining Pathlight HOME in 2017 with more than 25 years in Public Relations, Muffet communicates the mission and successes of Pathlight HOME through resident stories, community presentations and media opportunities. She is the organization’s press contact.

Audrey Sandford, RN
Lead Case Manager & Programs Manager
Audrey began her work at Pathlight HOME in 2002. She brings 30+ years of nursing and rehabilitation experience into her work with our residents. She also manages Pathlight HOME’s RESTORE program, which provides permanent supportive housing for 60+ chronically homeless adults. Audrey’s professional competency is enriched by a deep sense of empathy and compassion.
Assistant Lead Case Manager
With experience in the restaurant industry and degrees in Medical Office Administration and Billing & Coding, Miscindy joined Pathlight HOME in 2015 as a Life Enhancement Specialist for the Restore Program. Because of her compassion and desire to help others, she was promoted within three months to Case Manager. She became the Restore Assistant Lead Case Manager in 2018.

Rotaya joined Pathlight HOME in 2015 as Executive Assistant for our Safe Haven Program, bringing 10+ years of experience in teaching employability skills to youth and adults and helping recovering individuals to maintain their sobriety. Becoming Case Manager for Safe Haven in 2016, Rotaya was recently promoted to Lead for the Safe Haven and Homes for New Beginnings Programs.

A Culinary Institute of America-trained Chef, Esteban joined Pathlight Kitchen in 2018. With more than 30 years of professional culinary experience and a personal commitment to his students’ workforce excellence, he teaches our Culinary Training Program for low-income adults. In addition, he manages our Commercial Kitchen and Banquet Room rentals.
