Help us Celebrate 30 Years of "Welcome Home"
It all started in 1991 when a pastor and an attorney discovered that they shared the same dream: housing Orlando’s homeless.
By 1992, Rev. Fred Maxwell and Helaine Blum incorporated Grand Avenue Economic Community Development Corp. (now known as Pathlight HOME) and submitted a federal grant application to house 100 homeless persons.
30 years later – with two apartment properties and more than 7,000 homeless men and women housed - we are proud to say that we are “Still Dreaming”... because a safe place to live should never be a dream out of reach.

Still Dreaming: The Experience

Registration Coming Soon
The late Reverend Fred Maxwell, Co-Founder of Pathlight HOME, always intended for Pathlight HOME to continuously grow. With every vulnerable person the organization housed, he sought to house more. In his words, he was "still dreaming" of ways to continue to make a difference and change lives.
Today, Pathlight HOME dreams of expanding our housing services to Central Florida's homeless families. We are excited to share our dreams with you at our inaugural “Still Dreaming” experience at the Orlando Science Center in September.
Registration coming soon – join the wait list for early access!
Join us in dreaming big! Your sponsorship of “Still Dreaming” will support the continued work of Pathlight HOME in housing our homeless men, women, and families across the region.
This experience-driven event will be a unique opportunity to reach Central Florida’s business executives, philanthropists, and community leaders. Download the Sponsorship Packet to explore our partnership levels and opportunities.

We have dreams of expanding our housing with new single-family homes, micro-homes and additional refurbished motel properties. These dreams will only come true with your help.
We've set a goal of raising $300,000 in honor of 30 years – which will fuel our dreams of providing housing options for everyone who needs them.
Show Your Support
We’re celebrating Reverend Maxwell’s dream and supporting the continued work of Pathlight HOME with commemorative apparel designs!
Profits from sales will support our mission to make a difference in the lives of the homeless and low-income. And wearing our designs helps us share our dream with the world!
