The Complex
Maxwell Garden has 205 units - 180 efficiency apartments and 25 traditional single room occupancy units, with private bedrooms and communal living areas. A swimming pool and outdoor seating area provide a respite for residents.
Students from the Culinary Training program can get real-world food service experience at Sobik’s Subs – connected to Maxwell Garden. Profits from this Sobik’s Subs location go into the Pathlight HOME mission of housing and supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.
Housing Programs
Our Homes for New Beginnings residents live at Maxwell Garden. This program provides permanent supportive housing to homeless adults who have a disability. All residents have access to case management and monthly activities. Case managers also provide random drug/alcohol screenings. To live here, residents need a referral from the Homeless Services Network Coordinated Entry System. Rent does not exceed 30% of a resident’s income.
Residents in the Safe Haven Program also live at Maxwell Garden. This program provides permanent, supportive housing for chronically homeless adults who have a disability. Support Services include 24-hour staff, case managers and facility monitors. A resident needs a referral from the Homeless Services Network Coordinated Entry System. Income not required.
